World Space Week 2016

World Space Week 2016
Celebrating our space

Every year since 1999 between 4th and 10th October, the U.N. established that we have to celebrate our world, our space. As a leader in the aerospace industry, Airbus Defence and Space is involved in this great worldwide event, through conferences and interventions at schools, with one goal : educate people around the world about the benefits that we receive from space.

Remote Sensing – Enabling Our Future

This year, the World Space Week is about Earth Observation. It means to highlight a host of classic Earth Observation missions such as environment and agriculture monitoring, land use mapping and new uses such as location based services.

Together we can give back to our industry and inspire its future in a big way
